Stolen phone by tow truck driver

Last year on 3rd of August 2016 I was involved in a pretty bad car accident. Since having the accident I have lost my job and been unable to get employment due to my car being written off and not being able to get private or public transport because of the location I live in.

Before I had the accident I had just gotten a new IPhone a few weeks prior to the accident. When I had the accident a tow truck driver took my car from the scene of the accident and also stole all of my belongings inside of the vehicle. The towing company was found liable forthis and wrote me a check for $1000 though because I had lost my job I used it for rent and other bills at the time.

I would like to be able to purchase a new phone to use as I don't have a PC and basically need a smart phone of the same quality to use for everyday things as most people do on a daily basis. I have never used a fund raising site before and was referred by a friend that said I maybe able to get some help so I thought I would give it ago.
