Stolen Money

I am a 61 year old single parent on a disability pension because of M.S. and Diabetes. On this past Christmas Eve day, I took a large sum of cash out of my account to use for gifts and other needs over the holidays.  I was in the Bay Dept. store and my wallet was stolen.  An hour later it was turned in without any money in it! The Bay Security said there was really nothing I could about it. I have several bills including my mortgage that have gone unpaid because I had to take more money out to cover Christmas.  I've never resorted to a site like this before but I don't have any family or other resources to refer to.
