Stolen busking equipment, need help to buy guitar & amp

Hi there. I am a professional melodic rock/hard rock guitarist, keyboard player and vocalist from the UK. I used to successfully busk around the UK, but unfortunately I recently got my busking equipment stolen and I can't afford to replace it.

I am looking for £2500 in total: £500 to replace the stolen equipment and another £500 for some portable recording equipment, so I can record songs while I go travelling. An additional £1500 to buy a bass & keyboard (I will play these on my recordings), plus setup of my website, possible purchase of a computer, and some promotional costs to launch my musical career.

How the money will be spent

I will need £250 for an amp, around £150 for a guitar, and around £100 for things like a guitar case, leads, guitar strap, microphone and stand, mp3 player and a trolley to carry everything around on. The other £500 will be spent on recording equipment.

Another £1500 will be spend on setting up my website, maybe a computer, perhaps a bass and keyboard, and some simple marketing costs to launch my career.

What I will do once the funding is received

I want to record an EP and eventually album of my own songs, as well as go travelling and busking to promote my music and add joy to the world with my music.

I intend to form a band of musicians around me (bass, drums, keyboards), once I have recorded the album and busked a bit. I will fund the band in a future project.

Why back this cause?

Rock music and guitar playing has reached a state of stagnation. Every new rock band these days is nothing new or original. Rock singers can't sing melodically any more. What happened to decent, well produced rock records? And where did all the great guitar players go?

I am looking to create my own unique brand of melodic, hard rock with virtuoso guitar playing and musicianship, melodic vocals, catchy hooks, meaningful lyrics, coupled with excellent production on recordings and a great show onstage at live gigs.

My rock influences are Gary Moore, Dokken, Deep Purple, White Lion, Motorhead, Great White, Eric Clapton, Thin Lizzy, etc.
