Stingray’s Virtual Birthday Run

Stingray is organizing his birthday run event this coming weekend on Jan 15 for his 31st birthday in his hometown in the Philippines. As you know, he is quite a celebrity in his hometown (He was chosen as a notable citizen by his prefecture 2 years ago!) and is running 5km with his friends and fans to his mountain house.

After a short 5 km run, Stingray will serve dinner to all the participants, and they will camp in the mountain and party and celebrate his birthday (You know how a Philippine Bday party goes :) .

He asks very small fee of 500 peso (appx. HKD 76) for the run and dinner to the participants, and he will use anything left from the registration fee to fix his house in the mountain, which was recently damaged by the typhoon Odette (Please see some photos above). It was quite devastating for him as he had never seen the house in person despite that he remotely built it from HK in the last 2 years.

I thought it would be a good birthday present for him from his friends to participate to this event virtually from HK.

• Run/Walk/Hike at least 5km before 18 January anywhere in the world!
• Take a funny photo(s) on road/trail to wish him birthday
