Effective Treatment Africa was born to meet the gap between HIV Stigma and Education. Stigma is a major cause in the Effective Treatment of people living with or needing ARV Treatment. As an organization we work with speakers that share their own unique personal journey from being diagnosed with HIV to a point where they have made a success from their diagnosis. We use our stories to help young people make more informed decisions. Once our speakers have shared their stories we educate the learners with the latest information in the Treatment and Prevention of future infections. Our work is extremely powerful and has an instant effect on how young people face stigma. Many of whom are already living with HIV or most certainly with family members. It costs us 5 Rand per Child thats only 35c. Our aim for the coming months is to reach a goal of 3 schools per week. Your donation will be helping use achieve this goal.
