Cats of Anchorvale (TNRM / Vet Fees)

Hello! We are community cat feeders in the Anchorvale (SengKang) area. We feed the community cats daily and love these kitties very much. As you can see from the pictures, Billy, Blueberry and their friends are really sweet and cute (then again, all cats are...). :)

Recently we have realised that the number of cats has increased, likely due to the lack of sterilisation. We would like to do a TNRM (trap, neuter, release, manage) programme for the 15 or so stray cats in this area. Sterilisation is the only humane way to manage stray cats because it prevents overpopulation (so feeders have enough resources to take care of all the cats), unwanted pregnancies or pregnancy health complications/deaths for young cats, cat accidents or abuse, starvation, culling by the government or anything bad in general. In short: sterilisation is great for these kitties! :)

We have around 15 or so unsterilised kitties in the area, and we are working with CWS (Cat Welfare Society) to get them sterilized. CWS only provides sterilization vouchers though, and any other fees (trapping, hospitalization, deworming / deticking, vet fees) would have to come from us. Our aim is to raise $4500 to sterilise all 15 or so cats as well as to cover any vet fees that might come up. As this is a rather large amount, we hope we can get some help from the community.

Any amount (even a dollar) is much appreciated and can help these lovely cats. Any extra funds raised will go to food for the cats, or sterilisation fees should we find more cats in the area.
