Stephen’s weight loss for Jamie

Please sponsor me as I attempt to lose 10kg in forty (40) days to help raise much needed funds for Jamie’s rehabilitation.

Jamie was diagnosed with a brain tumour aged 13. He then contracted life-threatening meningitis and has endured over 15 brain operations in the last two years. This boy has defied all the odds given everything he has endured.

Jamie is almost 16 years old now, out of hospital but still has a long road ahead. Jamie is still mostly ventilator-dependant but is learning to walk again with much assistance. Jamie has never ever given up hope and tries so hard every day. His life today is unrecognisable to the life he had before but together we can help do everything possible to help get this brave, polite and compassionate young man back to the life he so deserves.

Jamie’s family have already altered their house to accommodate Jamie’s wheelchair and his therapy needs, however, we are trying to help them build an extra room onto the back of the house where Jamie can practice walking with his walker. He currently can only do this with assistance from his father outside of their home on their concrete driveway. This is not an ideal situation and we would love to change this for him.
