Stephen McNeff Flute Concerto

Stephen McNeff, a renowned classical composer, is writing a brand new Flute Concerto with wind orchestra accompaniment (as well as a piano transcription for recitals). It is aimed at being accessible for skilled amateur performers, rather than professionals, although, of course, could be performed by either.

I am a co-commissioner, with colleagues from North Cheshire Wind Orchestra and Dublin Concert Band, aiming to present premieres in Spring 2014 in London (Saturday 5th April, with Lambeth Wind Orchestra (soloist: Hannah Mills)), the North of England and Ireland.

To complete the Flute Concerto commission, I need to secure additional monies and I'm looking for individual players/sponsors and interested bands that may be able to contribute financially towards the project. 

Contributors to the project will be credited in all programmes at each of the three premieres and in the score, should they wish to be named; also, they would be entitled to receive a signed copy of the score from the composer and, if appropriate, a reduced rate from the publishers should they then wish to purchase the work. 

All money raised is going directly towards the composition and production costs of the concerto.
