Stemcell Treatment for Dyllan

In 2014 my son Dyllan broke his neck playing the game he loved even today, rugby, which has left him a quadriplegic. He has shown improvement over the past year and a half but still needs assistance to do virtually everything.

He is in an electric wheel chair which means that we have had to purchase a new min-van to get him around. The medical expenses for this are far more than we ever expected. Our medical scheme does not cover almost 80% of what he needs, which means we have to pay for most of his medication cash. We have received donations in the past which has assisted us, we are however now looking to raise money for stem-cell treatment that has the potential of helping him walk again.

The treatment is not approved by medical schemes as yet which means we get no assistance from them yet again.

So we are trying to raise the funds to send Dyllan for the stem-cell treatment.

We have spoken to the Doctor in length about the procedure and he is positive that there will be some improvement. He is obviously hesitant to the degree of improvement.

This treatment is the first real ray of hope that my son has had over the past year, he has even started looking, as any 18 year old boy should, at what his 1st car would be. Something he was not doing a few months ago

I plead to everyone and anyone out there please help us as his parents to give our child the possibility of hope for a more normal future.

We are more that willing to supply more information to anyone who would be interested or skeptical as to our motives.
