Stationary for Mitchells Plain Learners

Good day,

As 2017 draws to a close educators around South Africa are starting to prepare for the new school year ahead. It is my great honour to be the new grade 2 teacher at Yellowwood Primary in Mitchell’s Plain for 2018. Our classroom will be filled with 43 eager learners willing to explore, develop and learn all that there is to be learnt.

Having 43 learners from a less fortunate area comes with its challenges. It is my goal as a teacher, no matter the social-economic background of a student, to provide them with the best education and chance in life I can.

To gear a classroom with stationary, whiteboards and educational resources is a daunting task and a big financial hurdle. I would like to ask for any donations, big or small. Please help me to equip these learners with the tools they need.

- Colouring pencils

- Small whiteboards

- Whiteboard makers

- Small Abacus / Counting Frames

- Chair bags (“Stoelsakkies”)
