Starting up Young Farmers

Good day funding community, thank you for taking the time to read the campaign, My name is Wesley Van Rooyen, I'm a 38year old family man and local municipal councillor in Kimberley Northern Cape South Africa. As the whole world has taken a huge knock with the covid 19 pandemic a lot of our countries has suffered huge job losses and it has weakened many economies.

As I grew up with farming in my family and still assisting on our family farm, I would like to purchase farm land and utilize the land to help and train unemployed on how to grow a farming business. Our farm lands in the Northern Cape is mainly used for sheep, cattle, wheat, corn and game farming and can provide a variety of opportunities.

I would like to assist startup farmers for a period of 12months and have them ready to go on their own and encourage them to extend the system with their new farms. I want to rotate the system on a yearly basis to continue to make a difference in our lives of our communities.

All the funding will be going directly into the purchase for land and equipment and investment for our future farmers.
