Starting a life

Something that has become very difficult for many people my age these days is finding a way to move out and have their own lives. It's been made more difficult for me because my university is happily leeching away both my student loan and anything else I can earn. With my fiancee living the other side of the country in a jobless area, we're both struggling to save up enough to get our own place. We can't stay where we are and be apart for much longer, especially if we both want to get a job and start our lives together. Any help to stop us being in debt before we've even begun our lives would be greatly appreciated.
