Campaign Story
I came to Thailand three years ago fleeing religious persecution in my home country. I left my family in my home country. When i came here i had money to live here.
I went for UNHCR and put asylum.they said if i want to live here i need visa, I can not do job here and wait till my refuge interview. (I am still waiting for my refuge interview.)
After 2 months i wanted to get more visa to live here. I talked with someone about how to get visa he sent me there at samrong area and i met there an indian guy who was working for visa officers. After little bit converstation i gave him visa fees and my passport and what he asked me i gave him all. He gave back my passport in 7 working days with visa. After some days later Police officer stopped me at the street and asked me where i come from and show my passport. When i showed him my passport he said i got fake visa. He asked me where did i get this visa, i told him everything, he said call that Indian guy. I made a call and he came over there. He knew Thai language.when he came over there I don't know what they both talked in Thai language but he saved me.I asked him about my visa he just said I can not do anything because visa officer cheated you. He started his motor bike and went back from there. I couldn't do anything.
After 6 month I had left little bit money then i made a call in UNHCR and asked them for help but they said they can not help me. Then i decided to do a work.I was thiking that if I'll get a work then I can pay my room rent, bills and send some amount for my family.
Then I came out and start finding a work. After little bit struggle I got a work at an Indian restaurant with very small salary because I had no work permit and visa. But he was giving me a food. in that salary I could not help my family only I could pay my room rent and bills. I worked there just few months because immigration came over there. the owner said, someone put complaint against him that his workers are illegal.so he said me that I can not work here more. Then i started going to Chrches and asked help but they are already helping other peoples so they refused my request. I took help here from other ways like, one American guy and a women helped me with little bit money but that was not enough for me.I didn't know what to do.I am living here illegal.no have money for room rent, I can't send money for my family.UNHCR not doing anything.I am still waiting for my refuge interview.
After years of struggling to make ends meet, I am trying to buy cows to start a fresh (raw) milk business. There is a high demand for fresh milk in Indian and Pakistani communities. The money I would make from selling the milk from my cows would allow me to provide for my family.
What ever you donate it will be appricatied.
