We are living in turbulent times where finding a job is challenging particularly for young graduates who have much going against them including lack of experience, their age, and even difficult working conditions. With the current pandemic further restricting the already limited options, it is imperative to find solutions that will give these educated minds a reprieve from the constant letdown and disappointments of ‘the search’. Mecrew is a solution applicable in a world of continuous transformation, rewarding the time spent accumulating information and skills.

What is Mecrew?

Education is known to be the key to success; an incredibly important tool that can help open up multiple opportunities in order to achieve career and personal growth.It is upon this premise that we created Mecrew, a social freelancing platform that will allow people of all ages and with any type of specialized training to get a secondary job or even a stable one by imparting what they know to others. This is an application where the extent of income one can get is represented by their skills in the field and the time spent teaching.

How it works

Mecrew will be comprised of many topics created for almost any industry or field in existence. Our philosophy is if you can learnt it, you can teach it! To this end, our target market includes people with certain training and a diploma or certificate attesting to this; those who are willing to share their knowledge with others who need it. In the educator-learner relationship, the learner will have to part with a certain fee for the information received and after the lesson, they can rate and leave a review about their experience. Our hope is that this will ultimately help build trust and distinguish an equipped trainer by the quality of services they offer thereby securing repeat or referral business or even new one-time clients. The result will be constant optimization of those who teach to better present their services.

Additionally, where large groups of people are interested in a particular topic such as in the case of courses offered by educational institutions, discussion groups can be created within the app where people with expertise in these areas can hold their virtual classes. To gain access to these sessions, each participant pays a subscription fee.

You must have actual proof as an expert of having graduated in your respective field and acquired the relevant certifications. We will then verify that the diploma/ documents you uploaded when registering are genuine and actually belong to you. Once you pass this stage, we will gladly give you a complimentary call where we will get to know you and what you offer even as we explain to you how the Mecrew platform works. With this done, you can then begin to offer lessons.

What’s the money for?

Mecrew is raising this money to be able to develop to the end such an application that requires a huge number of human resources and everything related to licensing and implementation of the application.
