About Us.  

    We are a group of young, enthusiastic people eager for success in the social media world. We have likeminded characteristics in that we all strive to be better every day and are willing to push as hard as it takes in order to achieve our goals, after all those who have achieved great things,have once been great dreamers.  

What is Hullo?     

      Hullo application is a social medium which allows users to exchange contact details (phone number and email.) The application lets users search in a radius for people they would like the contacts of. Maybe a user has spoken to someone previously and has their name but no number and would like to connect. They can search by name and gender to find a specific user to then allow them to re connect.

      A user may also want details of someone they would like to get to know more personally and asking in person may seem daunting or apprehensive so the application is a perfect way to approach them. A short message can be sent with the request as to why you would like the contact details of a user. It can be accepted or rejected depending on weather the user wants to give his/her details out.      There are many reasons you may want to connect with someone, Hullo is just a medium to doing so in a fast efficient way.

How your money will help us.

     Hullo started off as a dream that after weeks of designing,planning and saving became more of a reality. The first problem was funding development which we managed to do so by pooling our own personal finances together and paying off development in stages of instalments.

     The application is almost complete and ready to be launched to the apple App store and Google play for android devices. The project can not be carried out with no finance to help run the application, cost of the server, text verification cost and the main neccessity for funding marketing. 

Marketing.

This is where we would invest 90 per cent of the funding generated. The goal is to reach as many people in as many areas as possible but we are going to need assistance in doing so along the way.       There is a theory that social applications have a 3/4 month window from release to becoming somewhat established or interest is then lost In the app.We believe that we have a product that can become hugely successfull and so it's vital we have capital to reach the desired demographics in the desired regions, within that crucial period.

     We plan to advertise on social networks to friends and family we already have. The next step is reaching out to audinces that we are not connected to already. In order to do this it requires payment from companies such as Facebook and Twitter daily in order to be adverstised to new people. In the first month of launch we plan to do this as much as possible to hopefully generate interest on social platforms as that is what we essentially are.

    We would like to hire a marketing team to help push us in to areas we cannot reach such as television, radio, magazines, online and events such as sports and music concerts. We have already outlined a company for this who also produce creative and innovative videos for products like ours to advertise, again all at a cost. We would also like to host a music concert and bring in muscians. promoting our application at events like this is perfect as it is a social connecting medium that would be used at such events. Funding would cover payment of bringing the artist and venue and would give us a chace to get mass exposure to new audinces.

       In an environment like mobile applications its a new, level playing field and we feel its one that we can compete in, with our product. We look at applications such as Snapchat for inspiration, who in the first 8 month of release made zero profit, to aquiring funding and the following year (2013) being valued at $860 million. (us dollars) Lastly, we really appreciate your time in reading this and if you can contribute in any way, no matter how small we would be eternally gratefull.
