Stanford- My Dream School

It has been my dream to attend Stanford University and live in the beautiful state of California since I was young, but I knew that funding this exciting venture would be a long shot. I was extremely excited upon receiving admission to this school but also worried that I would not be able to go due to financial reasons. While my family's income is in the middle range, my parents send an extensive amount of money to India regularly to support their families. My parents have saved money and will help fund my education as much as they can. I, too, have worked summer jobs and have saved money for my college education; however, after calculating my budget, I am still far from being able to meet my educational expenses should I choose to follow this path. Attending my top university choice is a good investment for me to make, but, like most investments, it requires a significant amount of capital to get started. My parents immigrated to the United States to give me the opportunity to pursue the best education possible, and I intend to get the most out of it that I can!
