Recently, four successive typhoons hit our country affecting several provinces including Occidental Mindoro. Hundreds of families, both in mangyan and non-mangyan areas, were highly affected, particularly by typhoon Josie. According to locals, families are in need of food supplies since roads and livelihoods were damaged by the typhoons.

Thus, BolunTurismo Philippines launched #StandUpMindoro Project last 27 July 2018 with the goal of providing food packs to at least 500 affected families in the municipalities of Abra de Ilog and Sablayan in Occidental Mindoro on 11-13 August 2018. These food packs will include rice, canned vegetables and meat, coffee and other non-perishable food items. We are aiming for Php 60,000 to cover these families.

We are continuously reaching possible donors to support this project.

Be one of the building blocks of hope so Mindoro could stand up once again. Please support #StandUpMindoro Project.
