It was euphoric moment to finally complete the set. A huge thank you to friends and family who came through to help paint and put this vision. Would have been impossible without you!

We've been hard at work with our production design, and know how much precision it will take to make it come together. A few days ago we met up with Ruben, a very skilled and resourceful carpenter who's familiar with our co-director Warwick.

We had a deep discussion about the resources and skillset it will take to bring this together, and thankfully he's confident that he can help us bring it to life at a reasonable price!

Thank you so much Ruben!

The plan for costume and make up to have a spacesuit that our actor can move in comfortably. This will be our most challenging outfit as the aim is for it to be realist and comfortable. We also will be neededing a hospital gown and some casual outfits.

Please don't hesitate to assist us where you can, even if it's just giving suggestions to where we can source the items

We had a test shoot for our graduation concept last week. This made us realise how much in depth planning we need to have done if we want a smooth shoot, especially if its going to involve such heavy visual effects. We believe with enough thorough planning and trouble shooting we will be able to pull off the the best science fiction film in our school, if not the first!

Please kindly support us in bringing this vision to life for our final exam project!

We currently have two of our three locations secured, and are getting started on building the designs for our set

Meet the crew!

Two weeks back we had a location scout, and a very intensive discussion about blocking and planning in the quiet surroundings of Krugersdorp. Grateful to have found this location

After many a consult with lecturers, the direction of the film has changed from focusing on the "by-stander effect" to rather focusing on "dissociation" or "avoidance behaviour" a common trait in people who have experienced trauma. Through our film we explore the normalisation of trauma in the South African community, and how it has become self consuming.

Thank you so much for your support so far :D We thought we would have a completed project by now, but unfortunately we have to go back to the drawing board and give it one last push. Let’s make it count
