Downtown BMX, LLC is our family's business which happens to be our passion project as well. We began the business as a small shop in Greensboro, North Carolina and have continued to grow it into one of the premier bike shops in town as well as online. We offer our customers top of the line equipment and accessories for all of their cycling needs as well as fast and friendly service.
To build our business, we had to take on the typical pitfalls of any start-up. These include taking on loans and foregoing certain advancements to our products and website in favor of immediate growth. We are ready to expand beyond the role of a start-up, which requires closing out old loans prior to making necessary changes to our online and in-person image.
This is why we are looking for your help. We need to pay off our loans and then begin our expansion project. Our goal is to begin this project by March.
- First, we need to update our website to include more interactive, user friendly, modifications.
- Then we need to expand our physical presence. Our town recently lost one bike shop, which means we have room in town to expand to a new location.
- One of the existing problems we have right now is parking. The location we are at now has very limited parking, making it hard for customers to bring there bikes in for repairs or even shop. Which is having an negative adverse reaction to front door sales.
- Room to add a community out reach program to allow us to have classes and workshop space to teach the community how to maintain and care for their bikes
We are asking for you to donate to our cause to help keep the world moving forward, one bike at a time. Even one dollar can help or if you cannot donate, please spread the word of our campaign to your circle of influence. The more people aware of our campaign, the closer we will be to obtaining our goal.
