Staffordshire Badger Conservation Group was formed in 1986 by a small group of people who were initially involved in providing evidence of Badger persecution.
We work closely with the general public, the police, the RSPCA,
landowners, local councils and developers in order to protect Staffordshire
Badgers.
At the moment, we are currently trying to raise funds for numerous badger vaccination projects which will be starting to take place in 2016. Some of the items/services which we will need to purchase include: cages (£100 each), 300kg peanuts (£300), vaccine (£15 per dose), needles/syringes (£25), vet call out fees (£150), medical PELI cases (£90 each), PPE for volunteers (gloves, face masks, disinfectant spray etc - £250) and general tools (stock marker spray, compression sprayer, garden twine, coated wire, curved scissors etc - £500).
Any donations to our appeal would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
