My name is Kieran Dawson, a 17 year old student at Richmond School and Sixth Form currently studying for my A-Levels.
In Spring 2014, I will be cycling a 190 mile route over one day in aid of the Camps Foundation and The North Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The fantastic work of The North Yorkshire Air Ambulance relies solely on donations from the public - without funding, the charity would not be able to provide the life saving service they are so highly respected for. Camps Foundation is an organisation working alongside community and wildlife around the world to improve living conditions and working to reduce damage to wildlife due to, for example, deforestation and poaching. With a focus on improving education, building schools and teaching valuable skills to young people is a key objective for the charity. Without volunteers like myself, there would be nobody to carry out this vital work - more importantly no funds to support those who struggle day in, day out. During Summer 2014, I will be spending four weeks in Ecuador volunteering for the charity and wish to support them in every way I can.
