Campaign Story
To celebrate our marriage on 28th May 2016, rather than receiving gifts from you, we thought it would be a great chance to raise some money for a good cause.
We will soon be spending some time volunteering in Haydom, a community located just south of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania's rural north. Poverty in Tanzania is very high - approximately 68% of the country's 52 million citizens live below the poverty line of $1.25 a day (Unicef).
Instead of giving a lump sum of money to one big charity, we hope to directly identify areas of need within local communities where your money will make a sustainable impact e.g. small business start-ups, child education sponsorships, improved housing opportunities
We really appreciate your contribution and look forward to updating you on how your money has helped this very deprived community.
