Campaign Story
My name is Ethan Lee and I am 17 years old.
On the 5th August 2017, I am venturing to Sri Lanka to be a volunteer for 4 weeks. First, I will work with a private hospital in Ambalangoda and also have the opportunity to teach English in an orphanage. After this I will be volunteering to work directly with retired and disabled elephants, giving them daily care and support their need to lead a happy life. I will be feeding, washing and walking the elephants for 2 weeks.
I want to use my school holiday for something worthwhile and to be able to make a difference in the world. Helping to fund this project will enable me to give something back before I become too busy with University study and work life.
This experience will help me to achieve my dream of becoming a doctor.
