Campaign Story
In summer 2018 I'm hoping to travel to the capital of Sri Lanka to volunteer at a hospital. It will involve helping out the medical teams, and observing their daily hard graft. Specifically I am hoping to assist in the Radiology X-ray department, Physiotherapy, and the Emergency Treatment Unit which involves helping people with life threatening conditions. It has always been an interest of mine to get a first-hand experience into what a day-to-day life is like for a doctor working and saving lives in a developing country. Please take the time to consider my "go fund me" page, any donations will be solely used towards flights and accommodation - and would be a great help in completing this incredible opportunity, which I cannot yet complete without sufficient funds.
