Campaign Story
My name is Yumna Adams and I am an ambitious and determined female entrepreneur based in Johannesburg.
Formerly an HR professional, I started making fresh cut potato chips in 2020 during the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic as a means to support my family. So many people lost their jobs due to companies closing down and communities endured unimaginable hardships.
This resulted in an even tougher job market and I faced the stark reality of no job being a permanent job.
I created Spud Buddy in my home kitchen and soon I was selling to take-aways, spaza shops and food trucks that needed what I had to offer.
By God's grace I learned so much about this business and I started looking into setting up a frozen potato chips plant. I have all that I need to make my dream a reality except for the funds to cover equipment, the facility and operational of costs.
I thank you for reading my story and considering being a part of my next adventure. I hope to use this venture as a means to employ people, help families and communities by paying it forward.
Should you need more information about my business, please feel free to contact me.
God bless you and thank you for giving, be it in money or good prayers.
Take care
