Welcome to my Personal Page! The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR), is a cycling journey throughout the scenic countryside of Western Australia that I’m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
I am extremely grateful to be part of team WAIMR. My job is to help identify what causes cancer and how to prevent it. My chosen specialty being bioinformatics, involves the application of computer science and mathematics to genetics and biology in general. Recently Prof. Grant Morahan, Graeme Walker and I have been working together in developing new computational methods that help us to identify candidate key genes associated with development of skin cancer. We need your generous support to continue and succeed at the task.
