Who Am I?

I am an Army wife, a first-time mom, and an Accredit Financial Counselor (AFC) who are passionate to learn more about money management and inspire others to take control of their finances instead of letting the money to control them.My ultimate goal in life is being able to help others who are in need (emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially). My heavenly father has been blessed me with the talent for financial counseling so I would like to share my blessing to others by teaching Financial Literacy.

Why Do I Want To Become A Dave Ramsey Financial Counselor?

According to the training description, the Dave Ramsey’s Counselor Training provided by Dave’s Team of Experts, will prepare and give me the confidence to answer tough questions and handle hard situations. The training covers topics like budgeting, cash flow planning, debt reduction, how money affects marriages, bankruptcy. I will learn how to provide empowering and effective financial counseling to help others as one of Dave’s Financial Counselors (the heart of a teacher).

When I was a bank/credit union representative and I see so many of my customers/members struggles to make ends meet, then I ask myself how I can help the people who are in need of basic Financial Literacy education. We were not born as Personal Finance Managers, and I am grateful for my families who have been teaching me the principle of finance in my early age. I am an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) who is working as a Financial Literacy Educator at a local non-profit organization. I really wish that I can offer my expertise and my service to people who are in need. There are so many things I would like to do for others who are struggling with their money, credit, debt issues. I believe by taking this training will enable me the opportunity to provide my counseling service to others.

 What Do I Plan To Do With This Training?

With this training, I will be prepared to provide one-on-one as well as group counseling sessions to people experiencing money crisis. And I know that with this training, I will be able to walk alongside with my clients, make my clients know that they are not alone and I will be their cheerleader when they need me.

Watching people struggle to make ends meet has been the most difficult experience in my career but I want to take this experience, opportunity and use it to help others, to change the world one distressed individual/couples/family at a time. It is my wish to take this counselor training and use it to volunteer at the churches as well as schools around the Omaha Metro area.
