Support the people of Ukraine, who are fighting to survive and fighting
to defend their homeland from the invading Russian army.
Since the
invasion on Feb. 24th there has been a wave of refugees into countries on Ukraine's
western border. Now over 3.7 million families; women, children and the
elderly, have left everything behind to seek
safety and refuge. They are coming across the border with what they can carry, all in immediate need of housing and supplies.
We can't help all of them, but we can do something. We have been helping collect and sort donations for families that have already arrived in coordination with the Breclav Chamber of Commerce, and have also been buying food, as well as making Fresh Start kits the arriving families. The kits contain laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, hygienic articles, baby food, and more. We also are preparing to sponsor one family to come to the Czech Republic. Sponsorship includes helping them with travel once they cross the border, logistics and getting set up with food, clothing and shelter. Please donate what you can to help us help them get a roof over their heads and food on the table.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of those affected. and 100% of your donation will go to the family. We will update their progress here and also on our blog https://refugeecentral.wordpress.com where we share more photos and details on our progress, and you can also see the difference your contribution is making in the refugees' lives.
Please join us today by donating and sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and communities. We stand with Ukraine.
Thanks so much for your caring and support!
