Campaign Story
Hello! This is "Spurs" who was saved from euthenasia at the local shelter on this, the day of Game 4 between the Spurs and the Miami Heat. His kennel name was Tod, but he has so much spirit and perk for an old dog that he deserves a name change. He is being fostered and needs desperate help! He has an infected tooth that needs extraction. It is causing his face on one side to swell and effecting his eating. He also has a tumor on his tail that is causing him pain and it needs removed. Otherwise he is only suffering from normal problems of neglect in the form of flea dermititis. He is going to be on pain meds and antibiotics for a week before he can be considered for surgery. I saved him because he is such a well trained sweet little Spurs fan. He is a lap dog at 22 pounds who needs to get well so he can find a forever home to enjoy his retirement. Please help us provide him with basic surgery to offer him comfort and relief from pain! Let's not make our throw away attitude in society fall on our old dogs who still love us when we are grey haired and slow. Any amount is acceptable and all funds will go to Pets Alive of San Antonio for his surgery.
