Hi everyone!

I am Jilmark, While walking our dogs, We found 3 abandoned kittens, we decided to foster them and to put them up for adoption. Unfortunately, one of them is injured. This kitty has her spleen hanging out from her side underbelly (we initially thought it was her liver.) The first 2 images below shows the extent of the damage.

First picture with the gaping wound on her side.

Second picture with the size of the exposed spleen.

After finding out her injuries. I wasn't able to take her to the vet immediately because of lockdown protocols. (we found her around 5-6pm, curfew was 6pm) and we were also afraid of the vet bills. FORTUNATELY, I was able to post her to REDDIT and found financial assistance for her surgery and REDDIT really helped me how to take care of her wound.

Immediately around 4am, the curfew was lifted and we were able to take her to the vet. It was this time we discovered that it was her whole spleen that was hanging around her side. The veterinarian decided to remove the spleen entirely since its already infected. The surgery was successful and she is on her way to recovery.

A picture immediately after the surgery.

After surgery, She was tube fed for 3 days.

She was stitched twice, both on her left and right side.

We had a vet visit today, (9/26/2020) She's cleared for infections and eating well as per kitty standards.

She's doing quite well now and she's on her way to recovery. Stitches will be removed again on October 5 with another vet visit!

This is her on this picture (eating well and safe from infection!)

Here's her latest Picture with her sisters!

I am really thankful to the redditors of r/Assistance AND our local dog and cat rescue community PART - Iligan for helping me fund the surgery and we also managed to fund her medicines and other kitty needs like milk, pee pads, milking bottles, vitamins and such for a whole month!

Now, I am making this FINAL fundraiser for their vet visits and kitty need for another 2 months. We will have 1 vet visit that will cost around $ 25-30 dollars. This is to remove her stitches. On the kitty supplies side, I will take any donations for their milk, pee pads and sanitary supplies.

I am asking for financial help because my work was stopped because of the pandemic and I am living on a 0-0 budget. (just enough to provide for my needs and my 3 dogs, the kitties was a surprise!)

I will shoulder their vaccinations hopefully around November after the layoffs from work. (of after I find another job immediately, since I am actively searching since the layoff)

I would like to thank everyone that have helped so far, especially on reddit r/assistance. It been a great honor to save the kitties with you and for this. I and the kittens are perpetually grateful.
