Spirit & Cupcake care

Spirit has stage 4 heartworm disease and will be treated with the slow "kill" method and not the injections, as he would not survive the injections. His journey to recovery will be long, but we are taking the very best care of him. Cupcake's owner has not been found, nor do we believe they want to be found. Cupcake has been suffering abuse for a long time. She has old and new injuries consisting of severe bruising, soft tissue injury, a broken sternum. She screams to defecate because she has been beaten so badly. Her hind is black, blue and red. She is now on morphine and Dr. Butto said it will take some time to heal. Our two babies are both safe at home resting. Prayers and love to Spirit and Cupcake.
