Campaign Story
Rather than gifts for my birthday/the holidays this year, I would be so grateful to receive funding for my first volunteer trip in Mexico! I'll be visiting for a week (February 3-9) and working as a Special Needs volunteer. If my campaign goal is met, I'd be able to cover:
- 1 week of volunteer fees (room and board)
- Volunteer company registration fee
- Flights
- Extras for food/water (lunch and water is not included in the program)
As many of you know, my goal for 2020 is to bring my passions for special education and travel together and focus on volunteer travel. This trip along with my new volunteer position in LA will be the start of this new shift in direction for me. I've felt a huge hole in my heart ever since I left behind my special education work, so I'm feeling so excited and aligned with this new path!!
I'm so appreciative of any help I can get during this transition and feel so thankful for all the encouragement I've already received on this journey :)
