Campaign Story
On September 2, 2021, we received a grieving news. My cousin, John Patrick Amaba, an 18 year old special child who lives in Dalaguete, Cebu and adores action movies, anime and superhero flicks has a tumor in his brain.
He is admitted on Chong Hua Hospital, Cebu, Philippines and is currently on ICU. His surgery was on September 16, 2021 to remove the brain tumor. We were asked to prepare almost (2) two million pesos and 5 thousand daily medical expenses on ICU alone, excluding medicine, post-surgery and medical treatments. Everyone in the family is pitching in but we are unable to do this ourselves, especially during these trying times. We've been asking from loan sharks to help us and it has hit our family with tremendous amounts of loans. We are kindly knocking at your hearts for prayers and help. No amount is too small. He was rushed back to the operating room because he had developed hydrocephalus. The latter operation was also successful and the abnormal build up of fluid in his brain has been drained.
