Campaign Story
I am suffering from Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD) or commonly known as Pelvic Girdle Pain which is a group of symptoms that cause discomfort in the pelvic region. It usually occurs during pregnancy, when your pelvic joints become stiff or move unevenly. It can occur both at the front and back of your pelvis.
This condition makes me struggle to get up and get into bed, I cannot even walk or move my lower extremities freely as normal due to severe pain.
However, what is more painful is the fact that I cannot take good care of my newborn child. When he cries, I am unable to get him easily so to feed him and cannot even carry to cradle him in my arms.
Knocking on your kind hearts for generous help so I can undergo therapy which may take 2-3 months for me to be able to get back on my own feet and move as normal as possible.
