Sparking interest in programming for the young and old

Technology is advancing at a rapid state, but some individuals find it difficult to keep up with it, or even to pick it up. The elderly folks and children are an example of such individuals.

I am looking to raise money for a several Single Board Computers (Raspberry Pi or Tinker Board), and various peripherals such as wheels, led connectors, etc. to show and teach the elderly and kids the basics of how programming and technology works. Simple codes to show the logic flow to enable the Led lights to blink on and off, and for the wheels connected to the board to move.

My hope is that this will spark their interest in the world of technology, the basic logic flow of how programming work, as well as basics about how software interacts with hardware.
