Safeguard Orphans & Widows Organization is an initiative of Dr. Sarah Obama, The organization undertake a family-centered approach in supporting orphans, widows and other vulnerable children. SOWOs activities and programs are geared towards meeting the health, economic, psychological and educational needs of the vulnerable populations.
SOWO and Mama Sarah Obama have been in the forefront in championing campaigns to address the plight faced by widows and orphans in Kenya. The MOTHER PACK CAMPAIGN is one of SOWOs Health initiatives that advocates for child births in hospital. This initiative is to help encourage healthy hospital deliveries. Amounts collected from this campaign will help in purchase of Postpartum Care Kits( "Mother Pack"). Please visit sowoglobal.org to read more on our cause.
