Southeast Asia Travel Study Program

My name is Ella and I am in my third year as a marketing student. I was just accepted into a travel study program where I will be volunteering and learning in Southeast Asia for 2 weeks this spring. I will be heading to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

One of the main reasons I have for going on this trip is to get experience. As a business student learning and understanding people is very important. Not only do I have to learn about other people, but learning about myself is extremely important as well. Being in a part of the world with such a rich and meaningful history can only help guide me in this journey. By studying abroad in places with such different cultures than my own will open my eyes to people and places that I would not otherwise see. This program also allows me to get credit for a class that applies to my major. I will also be able to volunteer abroad, which is a dream of mine. We will be going to an elephant refuge and an orphanage to volunteer for part of our time. Being able to learn by traveling and experiencing the world is an amazing opportunity, and I am so thankful to have been accepted into this program.

I decided to fund raise on "Go Get Funding" because although I am a full- time student and also work, it is not enough to fund this travel study program. Any money raised will go directly to this travel study and have a huge impact on my life and education. Please consider donating!
