I am a South African scholar who have been accepted to spend a semester at Princeton University for a prestigious research fellowship for the Spring semester 2020. I'm very excited and the first person at my University to get into this program!
I will receive housing as part of the program, and I am able to cover my living expenses while there. But I still need to get there, and with the very poor performance of the South African Rand, it is unfortunately prohibitively expensive... I will sincerely appreciate any help towards the cost of a return ticket from Johannesburg to New York and be forever grateful.
My research will focus on socio-economic inequalities and biotechnological efforts to 'enhance' what it means to be human - I am happy to share my results with any interested donors at the end of the semester! (I don't want to bore anyone not interested with the details of my research, but definitely ask if you want more information about my project).
