South Africa Volunteer Trip

I will be traveling to a small city outside of Cape Town, South Africa. For two weeks I will be working with children from first to seventh grade. I will be working as a Physical Education teacher (sports and activities). Most importantly I will be teaching these children the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle all while learning team work and sportsmanship.

This year I turn 32 years old and I have realized how lucky I am to have the things I have in my life. I have been able to travel, eat regularly, have shelter, and most of all amazing friends. I want to give back for a change. I hope that this will be the first of many volunteer trips for me.

The $4,000 mark is a rough estimate of funds needed to cover the program fees and travel. I too will be contributing to the fund, but all the help I can get is much appreciated. Any funds not used will be donated to schools/conservations in South Africa.
