I will be heading back to South Africa this summer for a 4 week cheetah conservation volunteer trip. I will volunteer at a cheetah sanctuary and spend my days taking care of and learning about cheetahs and the struggles they go through to survive and gain population numbers. I will clean cages, educate schools on the importance of protecting this threatened species and educate myself on them as well. I want to continue my conservation efforts onto land and thought these smallest of the big cats would be a great place to start.
