SOS FOR AIDAN is a fundraiser for a beautiful little 6 year old boy who has Cerebral Palsy. The funds we are trying to raise will help offset the insurance costs and allow Aidan to have a much needed surgery, which will allow his feet to be placed flat on the floor, and help him walk. Aidan can get around right now, but not without pain and a great deal of clumsiness. Due to many years of walking on his toes because of his CP, he cannot live the life he wants. His legs have not developed as efficiently as the rest of his body. This causes Aidan to deal with great difficulties like falling, tiring easily and balance issues.  His spine is beginning to swell because he has been asymetric for a long time, allowing his left side to bear all his weight, while his right side cannot sustain him.  His ability to walk is becoming more and more impaired.  Braces have been worn to help counteract the tightness in his calves caused by his condition, but do not offer enough stretching and support for him to move without pain. We do not want Aidan to lose his ability to walk. This procedure will give him the relief he needs with casting, extensive physical therapy and braces worn afterward. Aidan has overcome tremendous obstacles in his young life. He was born 4 months premature with a life expectancy of a few days. He has had 13 previous surgeries from his eyes, ears, nose and throat, to his heart and stomach. He has been given diagnoses of CP, Autism, Scoliosis, rare immune disorders and a multitude of other ailments. Despite many issues that have come his way, nothing keeps him from smiling everyday. There is no shortage of spirit and determination in him to succeed in the face of adversity. Aidan gives everyone he meets hope because he is proof that miracles do happen. With your help, Aidan will get the miracle of walking without pain or injury. He loves to play and wants to make friends and enjoy the outdoors.  We all hope he can have that soon, like other children his age. When he doesn't hurt and can act like a typical boy, that will be something he lights up about. Please help us raise $5500.00 to make Aidan's dream's come true. Any and every donation is greatly appreciated. Thank You!
