Is it a myht that black cats are adopted at lower rates that cats of other colors?

SOS Cat Rescue have 14 black cats and kittens waiting for an adoption. Some of the black cats are waiting for forever homes for a year and even more.

Black cats and kittens are less likely to be adopted than cats of other colors. At least in our country.

Black cats, take note: Beware of people crossing your path. They're likely to bring bad luck.
