SOPHROSYNA Infant-Maternal Mental Health: Strengthening Bonds-Securing Attachment

SOPHROSYNA is a non-profit non-fee perinatal psychology service that offers psychoeducation, psychotherapy, training and research in Infant-Maternal Mental Health to pregnant women, new mothers and fathers. Founded by licenced psychologist Chrysanthi Georgiadou MSc LP following the stillbirth of her daughter Sophronia, the service aims to provide psychological support for pregnancy and neonatal loss, attachment and bonding as well as adjustment to parenthood. SOPHROSYNA has an infant-centred approach and we provide training of both mental and non-mental health providers in Infant Mental Development.
