Hi! My name is Sophie. My close friend Karen called me one day and asked me to join her to climb Mount Snowdon for her 50th birthday. As soon as i heard her request i was a bit doubtful. Firstly, because im not used to these kind of adventures and secondly, Mount Snowdon is Wales' highest mountain!!!
However, this great idea came to me. How amazing and special it would be if i took on this challenge and used it, in order to raise money and offer to our charity 'Walking with Elena'.
'Walking with Elena,' is a non profit charitable organisation, created by friends and family of Elena Mytides in her beloved memory. It's aim is to help young people who are less fortunate and in real need. Elena was my daughter, who passed away in September 2014 after her battle with the brutal disease of cancer.
I hope you will offer your support to this worthwhile cause by sponsoring me. The smallest amount could prove of great importance!
