Sophie is going to Yoga school!

Hi Friends and Family!

As some of you may know, this May I will be graduating from the University of Illinois with my bachelors degree in International Business!  What I would like to accomplish with my degree is to work towards running a business of my own.  My dream is to one day own and run a healing center.  I would like to start out working with young girls, middle school to high school, teaching them how to use yoga and other tools as a way to handle difficult challenges that arise in their lives.  

My first step towards this goal is getting my yoga teaching certification.  I have been accepted to attend the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massechussetts this summer!  Kripalu is one of the best yoga schools in the world and I could not be more excited to attend.   I will have the opportunity to learn all about human annatomy, the nervous system, myself, and of course yoga postures for health and how to be an effective teacher.  

The total cost of the program is $4,500.  I applied and was awarded a 40% scholarship taking my overall cost down to $2,700 for tuition, living, and food expenses.   If you would like to be part of my financial support for the education, any help would be greatly appreciated!
