Hello everyone; I'm currently studying BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing and in August 2016 I will be traveling to Ghana, West Africa for my cultural diversity placemen with Work the World. 3 weeks away from home is a huge thing for me, especially alone! I thought this would be a perfect oppertunity to open my eyes to the real world and see how different nursing is in Africa compaired to England. I am looking forward to getting special experience treating rare and unusual cases that I won’t get to see in the UK, and learn hospital survival skills in an environment with limited access to modern equipment. Helping the ones who need it the most. I will be wokring within the local hospital's however I will hopefully get a chance to visit the local villages and orphanage. Due to being a student I am unable to fund the trip myself so any donations would be appreciated, Thanks for you time, I truely appreciate it Lots of love Sophia! x Further information about Work the World - Work the World is a UK registered company that focus on providing safe, structured placements tailored to individual clinical interests.
