My daughter is 6 yrs old. She has a hole in her heart caused by 4 rare conditions. The hole is called “tetralogy fallot with pulmonary artersia and ventricle septal defect.” It is one of the few most common causes of “blue baby syndrome”. The reason why it’s called blue baby syndrome is because both good and bad blood is mixing through the aorta instead of flowing into the pulmonary chamber not able to reach the lung properly. These problems cause my daughter to have trouble eating, failure to gain weight, retarded growth, and clubbing of the fingers and toes. You can basically see blueness around her eyes and fingers. There are three types of surgery that will take place in order to repair her heart. She had one done on November 3rd, 2009 to repair the right shunt. The second was done on October 6th, 2011 to repair the left side. The final surgery will be held on September 17th, 2013.

Any donation will help. My dream as a mom always wants to take her on a relaxing trip after she recovers from surgery. Also, some of the donation will go towards her hospital expenses and perhaps if there is extra money left over. I would like to donate it to a child with similar conditions.
