Sons 17th birthday money stolen after mugging.

My son had his 17th birthday recently and we saved up to give him enough money to have driving lessons. He put the cash in his wallet and the next day went out without thinking about the cash. On the bus home he was mugged and not only did he lose his money but his bank card was taken and had his account emptied aswell. He also lost his provisional licence he had in there. this has left him shaken and upset.
