Nirab chakrabarty is 9 years old and was diagnosed with first stage cancer(CML) about a six-month ago. He is the only child of Ponchanon and Bina who lives in Kolkata in west Bengal, India. Doctors have said that there's still hope that he can survive. The doctors have started immediate treatment; they have started the medicine and have already done a bone marrow. But this could take a long day of medicine followed by doctor decision and can take about a year's time.

He is currently undergoing treatment at TATA MEDICAL CENTER, KOLKATA, and West Bengal. He has been suffering for six month and it has been a tough time for the family. Imatinib medicine is his only hope at getting better and living a normal life. His treatment will cost approximately $13000.

They are unable to pay for the treatment as he is from a very poor family and the amount is a lot from them and on their own, they can in no way gather that amount.

All of us are eagerly awaiting his recovery. Once he gets better, I'm sure he would love to grow up to be a very grateful person knowing that this world is full of hope. You contribution can help Alvin get a second chance and a glimpse of life. Along with that we need all your prayers as well.
