Following the Terrible Earthquake in Nepal, the village of Pipaltar has been devastated, please help us raise funds to rebuild their village!

Following the terrible earthquakes in Nepal on the 25/04, the little village of Pipaltar has been devastated. Many houses and especially the ones from the poorest people have collapsed. The houses that are still standing have been damaged so badly that everybody has to sleep in the surrounded fields, frightened that an aftershock of the earthquake might possibly demolish the last walls.

Therefore, with our little means, we have thought of a way to help the inhabitants of Pipaltar who, for many of them, among the poorest ones, don’t have any roof at all.

Thanks to many of your suggestions, we have decided to put in place a fundraising event with our close contacts. If each of us show solidarity among their families, colleagues, their friends and friends of their friends, we could help them rebuild a part of their village, perhaps even all the destroyed houses and allow the villagers to have a roof and get back to a normal life.

A local action group and our intermediary in Nepal, will allow us to make sure our funds are used in the correct way.
